I love glaciers. A collection of cool, calm, and beautiful blues that blend from sea, land and sky. What could be more peaceful?
Turquoise is a fascinating stone. When you look at Royston ribbon turquoise from above, it often looks like a landscape with a river running through it but with this beautiful red river turquoise it appears as if you’re looking down on glaciers. The blues, creams and rust colors blend to create a perfect picture of a winter wonderland.
Where we are in the current stream of time we see that glaciers are indicators of climate change. They are very sensitive and they melt and shrink as temperatures rise often contributing to a rise in sea level and changes in water availability. They are indicators and there are many impacts when glaciers are lost.
This earth was made for us. It is our home. We need to take care of it. Although the Earth will last forever, according to holy books, we are its stewards, and we must cherish it as something that sustains our lives. Something precious.
